fish in. They were almost right, as the fishing was rather slow to begin with in the early afternoon. But, I worked downstream to get away from the bridge
where most people have access, and found this little miracle of a hole:

Here in the Southwest (and I mean about as far south and west as you can go) the season&#39;s change means its time to hit the streams again, the ponds are
more pleasant to fish (and bring along the scatter gun!), and the halibut will soon be moving into the embayments. Fall is a bountiful time....

			<description><![CDATA[ I finished a new rod for my brothers birthday and we took a short trip to break it in. First fish landed on the new 8&#39; 6 weight was a fat 21&quot; male
brown with a nice kype. About an hour after that I farmed the net job on a huge 24&quot; brown, and the fish got off. We ended up catching a few more descent
fish that day, but none of the huge bows the river is known for. Unfortunately we left the camera in the car, so my brother&#39;s brown went un-photographed.

Got the Driggs last week and already put it to work.  I went back to the Harrimans Ranch on the Henry&#39;s Fork this weekend and fished the Driggs all day
Saturday.  What a blast that rod is.  For a little rod, it can throw some serious line.  It&#39;s also great close in which is where I do most of my fishing. 
An absolute joy to fish.  I lined it with a 4DT but I bet it could have handled a 5wt as well.  I bumped into one of the Sweetgrass guys while in the parking

Well, I finally gave the Cholla a real day on the water.  I had tried it on the Yuba last year but got rained out pretty fast.  Anyway, I hit Harriman&#39;s
