Hello,
I have an old split cane bamboo fly rod that is a 2 piece, 7ft rod. It casts a DT4F quite well. It has nickel ferrules and has only one marking on it, which
is the word "Kent". It is hand written beneath the finish. Does anyone have any information about this rod's origin? I'm not sure if I
should fish it, or seal it away in a safe. Thank you for any information you might have.

Here in the Southwest (and I mean about as far south and west as you can go) the season's change means its time to hit the streams again, the ponds are
more pleasant to fish (and bring along the scatter gun!), and the halibut will soon be moving into the embayments. Fall is a bountiful time....
