I actually live off of Route 40 as well not too far from you in Ohiopyle, PA (aboout 2 hours NW). My wife and moved from Wyoming, but found there is plenty of great fishing within a few miles of the house. Started to collect and work on the first rod a short while back. If you are in the neighborhood, give me a call.

Brooklyn, New York, at present, but Kansas bred, so I've reversed the migration route of my Irish grandmother. (My other grandmother grew up on a ranch in Colorado, so we went out there every summer to visit family.) Most of my fishing now is in the northeast, upstate New York, New England and New Jersey, but my daughter is going to school in Colorado Springs this fall and I plan to be out there a lot more often than she would like.

I'm a native Washingtonian living about 35 minutes east of Seattle - 30 minutes to the Cascade mountain drainages and 30 minutes in the other direction to Puget Sound. Native searun cutthroat have been my favorite quarry since the 1950's, pursued with bamboo and antique reels - my favorite way to spend what spare time I have available! Greg

I'm about mid-way between Boston and Providence, RI. Contrary to popular opinion, there are no trout or salmon in New England and the saltwater fishing sucks too. I suggest trying the New Jersey shore.

Oh my! You Coloradians really are taking over the world!

Well I am one of the few and far between rod makers from Wyoming. ( 'Yoyos' as Dave calls us)
To be more exact, the Buffalo/Sheridan area at the base of the Big Horn Mountains is my home ground.
But don't bother coming up here, the fishing sucks!

I live 4 1/2 miles outside the town limits of a little town in the mountains of western Maryland(Clear Spring- pop. around 350).The towns only claim to fame is that the 1st National Pike>US Rt 40 runs through the center of town.Maybe to be a little clearer, it's 95 miles NW of Baltimore and 90 miles NW of Washington,D.C.
