Sorry to hear of your wife's illness, but I can certainly relate. I feel the same about my wife and we are certainly lucky to have someone in our lives that mean so much to us. My prayers are with you both. We shall meet when the time is right.

I hope that in all ways the gathering is a huge success with good weather, good company and a storehouse of memories.

I am the "Midwest Visitor" from a few posts up. I can't wait for this event. I am bringing along three other friends from Ohio so the heartland will be well represented. We are staying for 4 days after to fish RMNP and surrounding areas. Colorado in August is hard to beat.

Looks like I can make it! Planning on attending the FF Conclave, then down to Lyons. Then spend a few days on the St Vrain. All I need now is info on fishing and camping.

I have a 17' trailer. Looking at Peaceful Valley Campground on the South Fork. Suggestions on campgrounds? Where is the best fishing? South, Middle or North Fork? I never have fished the area.

I just finalized the menu this morning and it's going to be great. Roasted Pork Loin with apple cider sauce and sun dried cranberries; Rosemary, Lemon Pepper and Thyme (sounds like a song) Rubbed Chicken Breast plus all the other goodies. No more bolonga sandwiches for us smelly fisherman. I really was looking forward to attending the CCC and pouring beer for everyone, BUT...I got a job as a guide in Montana, and am now forced to show people the wonders of water in western Montana...So, I will miss seeing you all.
