Powerfibers honing guide - any thoughts?

Posts: 18 02/19/09 06:52:36	I read through the Powerfibers article on the DIY honing guide, very interesting project that I'd like to build. Does anyone here use anything similar? How is the angle determined on the plane iron jig, is the iron set at a certian distance from the jigs base? There doesn't seem to be any bevel in the jigs base itself? I'd also be curious what everyone here uses as a honing guide, I have about 3 planes that I need to get sharpened so I have to work this out this weekend. Thanks, Tim
