Has anyone ever bought a rod or reel from somebody that goes by rustyrat100? Apparently the guy is in Canada and I can't get him to answer his email.

No, haven't had a deal with him. I will say that if you have not purchased something then don't and if you have, then do a charge back and forget
about the deal. Things usually only get worse with sellers like that in my experience's.

Well, seems my concerns were unfounded, the guy was out fishing (lucky sod). The rod is on its way (confirmed through Canada post website).
