I understand the need to avoid potentially damaging language in an open forum, but I too felt like a bunch of immodist elitists had taken over "that
forum" and had become internet experts on that subject we so love. Hopefully, this forum can return to the original idea that Clark started with, a place
to share information and ideas on cane, not about posturing or ignoring somebody's contributions in an effort to make yourself look better. Let this be a
good neighborhood, with respectful neighbors that share and treat each other as equals.

I'll be here too! The other forum while still better than most,lost a tremendous portion of it's bang for the buck when Cloozoe,BlackHillsBill,Drake
Bob and others stopped posting.With them went 90% of the sharp witted humor that I looked forward to on a daily basis.Maybe they'll start frequenting

Welcome to the forum... Your English is bettter than my French. (Tho I'm pickin' up on Spanish pretty quick, and not through choice.) You likely have a small provincial area there that my family is descended from... Ste. Claire? (Spelling has been aborted to St. Clair now.) Mike Sinclair, the famous rebuilder, is from England or Scotland in name... but from the same area originally, I'm sure. You might pick up a few words that will get you in trouble in some places.

Welcome Walrus, Goo goo g' joob... The Walrus got his name a few weeks ago when he did a half pike off the steep bank into the Eagle River right in front of me, came out of the water like a Walrus charging the beach. Made my day and another fly guy that just happen to be there at the right time...
