I just got a post deleted off Clark's because I mentioned I thought it was sad that legislation was not getting passed in Congress, to protect
wilderness--the topic of the thread. So, I wrote a pissed-off response to the moderator--who apparently agreed with me politically, but the RULES are there is
no mention of politics or religion; guess that means you can't quote most of A River Runs Through It... I
don't see how you can want wilderness, but not have the god-damned spine to stick up for it, no holds barred. Anyway, I was looking at the pictures and
comments on preferred presidents, and thinking, "Glad we can say we admire a president on this board."
 I think my favorite president was Roosevelt, b/c of the National Park/Forest
Service designations he backed, even though Mark Twain (a favorite author of mine) wasn't a big fan b/c of Teddy's Imperialist tendencies...

The trouble with that other place is that they have gotten so big they are just like a #&%**@# dinosaur.They don't even realize they have a tail until
somebody steps on it.It's a damn shame because it used to be one of the best forums on the net.Too many wannabes and instant experts there now.

holy moly, yea, the NAZI's have taken over the other board and I was looking into starting my own.
I would rather not. there once was a very large boating site that was called "hot boat", thousands of members, well they got very controling, and now new forums popped up. Yes, they are gone, Hot boat to be no more, it just shows you that you are never to big to fail... Thanks for being here. BDC
